A brief guide as to how we setup a partnership:
Marten sources a horse and we decide how many owners we feel would be appropriate in the new partnership. The maximum allowed is 20 but we like to keep our groups smaller where possible. Rebecca then prepares the financial information and Steve prepares brief marketing.
We then contact our existing owners to see if they would like to be involved with the new horse. We promise to always offer a horse to our existing owners first but we like to have one or two new owners in each partnership if possible. After this we contact people who have registered their interest with us.
If at this point we still have shares available we start outside marketing through websites and adverts. We also prepare a full brochure. This is something we try to avoid as it adds to the cost of the partnership and we like to keep costs down where possible.
To keep our owners informed we use email, website updates, Twitter, newsletters and of course the telephone! All our owners are provided with Marten and Rebecca's mobile numbers so that we can be contacted anytime.
